Who Am I?

Sami Milburn, Founder and Head Coach, graduated from the University of Idaho with a Bachelor's in School and Community Health Education. She returned to school for her Associate’s of Occupational Therapy Assistant, finding that this field combined all her passions into one.  

 

Working in the pediatric field Sami has found there is a limited amount of camp and recreation opportunities for children that do not fit into the "typical" sports and recreation camp models.  Sports MY WAY is working to bridge that gap.

"I have lived in the Boise area for about 15 years and love everything that it has to offer. I have always had a passion for sports and outdoor recreation and combining that passion with my schooling I have a unique ability to find ways to adapt these activities for a range of skills and abilities. It is my goal to help the "non-typical" population find joy in activities that will carry them well into adulthood and give them a healthy outlet for physical and mental well-being."
